1. Regularly Clean or Replace the Atomizing Cap
It is recommended to clean or replace the atomizing cap after every 4-8 hours of continuous spraying to prevent adhesive buildup and hardening. This is suitable for the gradual atomization degradation that occurs with medium-to-low viscosity adhesives during prolonged operation. A general-purpose atomizing cap is recommended; its wear-resistant coating reduces adhesive adhesion and extends service life.

2. Replace with a Shot Blowing Atomizing Spray Gun
Shot blowing atomizing caps use a ring-shaped air outlet design, rather than a traditional porous structure, fundamentally avoiding atomization failure caused by pore clogging. This is especially suitable for fast-drying, high-viscosity adhesives. For example, shot blowing spray guns have good anti-clogging performance, but it should be noted that their coverage width is smaller, making them more suitable for dispensing, spot spraying, or small-area precision spraying scenarios.

3. Select Professional Adhesive Spraying Equipment

It is recommended to use a spraying system specifically designed for adhesives, such as the Iwata COG series adhesive spray gun. Its specialized design can reduce the occurrence of such situations or extend the interval between clogging events. This model uses a large-diameter needle valve and air cap structure, and the flow channel has been optimized to significantly reduce adhesive residue and cured buildup. For example, heated hoses can achieve precise temperature control during adhesive delivery, effectively reducing adhesive viscosity. Simultaneously, in conjunction with a viscosity control unit, the working viscosity of the adhesive is monitored and adjusted in real time, ensuring the fluid is always in optimal atomization.
